Learn about the program
Islantilla en Ruta is the hiking program of Sports Service of the Commonwealth of Islantilla, Created to discover, step by step, the landscapes, history, and heritage of our natural environment. Throughout the year, activities are organized guided tours through different areas of the Huelva coast, combining sport, nature and culture in a unique experience.
The program includes tours along local trails, visits to protected natural areas, and stops at places of architectural and historical value, some of which have been declared Cultural Heritage Site (BIC). Each season new members join new routes and experiences, to continue exploring and enjoying the Costa de la Luz in an active and sustainable way.

How the program works
Things to keep in mind...
- Registration: They are opened by route, in calendar order (it is not possible to register for a trip if the previous one has not taken place).
- Meeting point: As a general rule, departure and return are in Islantilla (unless otherwise stated in the information sheet for each route).
- Distance/duration: routes of approximately 10–12 km and an estimated 2–3 hours, unless otherwise specified.
- Rhythm and safety: guided group, interpretive stops and safety recommendations before each outing.

Directional bars for reduced visibility
We provide people with reduced vision a free loan service for directional bars. We have two bars available for your use. If you need this service, you can request it at the Islantilla Active Centre.
