Luis Ciges Library

A space for reading, culture, and meeting in the heart of Islantilla.

Before he died, the actor Luis Ciges donated his extensive personal library to the Mancomunidad de Islantilla. The titles that make up the library cover a varied panorama in which we can find both works of fiction and essays on the most diverse subjects. A rich legacy that reveals the actor's artistic, philosophical, social and political concerns. The library also houses volumes bequeathed by his maternal uncle, the famous writer Azorín; as well as various personal objects, among which we can find countless recognitions and awards, including the Goya award for best supporting actor that he received for his role in As in heaven as on earth.

Visit the Luis Ciges Library at the Active Centre of the Islantilla Commonwealth, located at Avda. Río Frío s/n. Monday to Friday, between 9:00 and 14:00.
