The Islantilla Walk of Fame

The Walk of Fame is the most famous and visited stretch of Hollywood Boulevard. Both sides of the street are marked along two kilometers by the iconic pink stars with gold trim. Islantilla also has its own star-studded Walk of Fame. Located at the confluence of the Paseo de Lepe and the Islantilla Seafront Promenade, in a pedestrian zone overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, it is a crossroads and an idyllic setting that invites film-buffs to stroll.

The history of Islantilla and Isla Cristina

Isla Cristina was founded on November 1, 1755, after the famous Lisbon earthquake. It took an earthquake and three tsunamis to create this beautiful area. Every year, November 1st marks this milestone, and people celebrate in the streets of Isla Cristina, streets that smell of salt and fish. The entire population and fishermen happily remember the date on which the seafaring city was founded, transforming it into one of the most special places on the Huelva coast.
